The PACU Registered Nurse will be delivering patient care at this 275 bed hospital. This hospital offers a wide range of services including emergency and trauma care, women’s services, cardiology, orthopedics, and surgical services.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager Surgical Services, the PACU Registered Nurse will work with an outstanding team of strong PACU Registered Nurses. With the assistance of the Director, Manager, and tenured charge nurses, this PACU Registered Nurse will receive plenty of support.
This is a great opportunity for a strong PACU Registered Nurse to move to a well-run and high quality department. The PACU Registered Nurse will deliver patient care in this cutting-edge unit. Working closely with doctors, technicians, and other nurses, this Registered Nurse will find a unit that feels like family.
Serving an essential role in the Surgical Services Department, the PACU Registered Nurse will be responsible for phase 1 recovery of the patients and assist physicians during examinations and procedures. The Registered Nurse will ensure patient needs are met by consulting with staff and physicians. The PACU Registered Nurse will also promote the patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
The PACU Registered Nurse will enjoy living in a beautiful, quaint town on the Eastern Side of St. Louis.
